With their near-meeting backstage (Tito had left the venue before the singer could reach him)
at an event in Benin City, and IG FLAMEZ' manager collecting Grinding Records' CEO
Tito Da.Fire's contact info from the event organisers, and his later inviting IG FLAMEZ to Lagos,
it was a road well travelled.
Recording Uwese with Tito Da.Fire revealed an edgy, dynamic lyrical and distinctive
voice strength and delivery style that sounded like no other. Creative sparks and flames emitted
while crafting of this new sound on Rexxie's thumping beat, carefully laced into its defined space
by the mixing genius Phazehop, to bring out this song for repeat play!
